Based on the latest generation of the BMW 3 Series, Alpina is developing the B3 Biturbo, a high-performance model that is proposed as an alternative to the future M3.
These are the first spy photos of the new Alpina B3 Biturbo the prototype of the new generation almost ready for production. It is expected to be presented at the next edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, as a model 2020.
Tested with some copies of the BMW M340i xDrive and the BMW M3, the preparer model has all the definitive elements: a new front bumper, multi-spoke wheels, four leaks and an additional spoiler on the boot lid.
Under the hood, the new Apina B3 BiTurbo will feature gasoline and diesel versions. The first with the six-cylinder in-line engine and 3.0-liter biturbo with a maximum power of 450 hp (called B3 S) and the second with the same architecture block as the previous one but with three turbochargers and 390 hp, the same configuration seen in the new Alpina XD3, XD4 and D5 S.
